Order previews and the lines on your chart

What the lines on your chart mean, and how buy and sell orders are colored.

Hyperprop draws your orders and previews on the chart so you can always see what is resting and where. Here is how to read them.

Preview lines

  • Limit and Stop previews. Before you have entered a price, Limit and Stop show a draggable preview line at the current market price, so the chart is never blank and you can drag to set your level.

  • Market orders. Choosing Market does not draw a fixed entry line by default. A market order fills at the best available price, which is not guaranteed in advance, so a hard line would be misleading. You can turn a market preview on in chart settings if you want it.

  • Placed orders. Limit and stop orders appear on the chart right after you place them. Planned TP and SL lines disappear the moment you cancel the order they belong to.

Buy and sell colors

Buy-side lines are blue, sell-side lines are red, across the preview line, the execute button, and your resting orders. You can change both colors in chart settings under Buy / Long entry and Sell / Short entry.

Your fills on the chart

When an order fills, it shows on the candle where it happened: a colored arrow with the quantity and price, buys below the candle and sells above. Several fills on one candle merge into a single label. You can toggle this in chart settings under Trade Executions (on by default).
