Reading the chart

Times, prices, contract labels, and how candles line up with the trading session.

A few details make the Hyperprop chart quick to read once you know them.

Time and price

  • Time axis. Intraday, it shows real clock times (for example 09:31), with a date marker at the start of each new day instead of repeating the date on every label.

  • Price labels. Prices use thousands separators (for example 29,936.25), so a big number is easy to read at a glance. Labels on the right axis (your TP, SL, and crosshair) are fully solid, so when several stack up they stay readable.

  • Contract label. The price axis shows the full active contract (for example NQU6, which is a specific NQ expiry), matching the chart header, not just the short root symbol.

Candles line up with the session

4-hour candles are anchored to the CME session open at 18:00 ET, so the boundaries fall at 18:00, 22:00, 02:00, 06:00, 10:00, and 14:00 ET. Daily and weekly candles align to the right session boundaries too. This is the standard way futures charts are drawn, so your chart matches what you see elsewhere.

It stays steady

The chart holds still on each price tick rather than wobbling, and your position on the chart stays put when you zoom, even if you have scrolled back in time to look at history.
