You can connect your Hyperprop accounts to Tradesyncer to copy trades with them and sync them to your Tradesyncer journal. This article covers the Hyperprop side: creating the API key Tradesyncer needs, which accounts it can see and how Hyperprop handles copied orders. For the steps inside Tradesyncer, see How to use Hyperprop accounts with Tradesyncer in the Tradesyncer Help Center.
Before you start
You'll need:
Your prop firm accounts added to your Hyperprop login (see Connect an account with an import key if you haven't done this yet)
The email address you use to log in to Hyperprop
An active Tradesyncer subscription
Create an API key
Log in to Hyperprop. Go to app.hyperprop.com and sign in.
Open your API keys. Go to Settings → API keys.
Create a new key. Give it a label such as "Tradesyncer" so you can recognize it later.
Copy the key. It starts with hpk_. Hyperprop shows the full key only once, so copy it before you close the window. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one.
⚠️ Keep your API key private. Don't share it or post it anywhere.
Connect it to Tradesyncer
In Tradesyncer, add a Hyperprop connection and enter the email you log in to Hyperprop with and your API key. The email must belong to the same Hyperprop account as the API key. For the full steps, see How to use Hyperprop accounts with Tradesyncer.
Which accounts Tradesyncer can see
Tradesyncer imports your accounts from every prop firm on your Hyperprop login together. You don't pick a prop firm.
Accounts that have passed or failed at Hyperprop aren't imported. If an account passes or fails later, Tradesyncer switches it off and hides it automatically.
If you add a new account to your Hyperprop login after connecting, refresh the connection in Tradesyncer to bring it in.
How Hyperprop handles copied trades
Order types. Hyperprop supports market, limit and stop orders, with take profit and stop loss. A stop-limit order from a leader on another platform is placed as a stop order on Hyperprop followers.
Futures only. Tradesyncer copies futures contracts. Trades on Hyperprop's BTCUSDT perpetual aren't copied.
Your firm's rules still apply. Hyperprop checks every copied order against your prop firm's rules, such as contract limits, and rejects orders that break them. See Why an order was rejected.
Important: If you use Hyperprop's built-in copy trading, turn it off for the accounts you copy with Tradesyncer. Otherwise the same trade is copied twice. See Copy Trading: Lead and Follower Accounts.
Troubleshooting
The connection won't add. Check that you're using the email you log in to Hyperprop with and that you copied the whole API key. Revoked keys don't work, so create a new key if you're not sure.
"Your Hyperprop API key is invalid or was revoked." Create a new API key in Hyperprop, then reconnect in Tradesyncer with the new key. See How to use Hyperprop accounts with Tradesyncer.
"Hyperprop unavailable". Hyperprop isn't responding right now. Wait a moment and try again.
