Sign-in and account security

How to sign in, turn on two-factor authentication, and check your own account activity log.

Your Hyperprop login is separate from anything your prop firm gave you. It is the account that holds your profile, your settings and every trading account you have redeemed.

Ways to sign in

On the web terminal you can sign in with an email address and password, or with Google.

New accounts verify by email, and there is a password reset flow if you need it.

Turn on two-factor authentication

Hyperprop supports app-based two-factor using a standard authenticator. You enrol by scanning a QR code in Settings, under security, and confirming a code.

Two-factor applies to both sign-in methods. Turning it on protects a Google login as well as a password one.

This is worth doing. Your login controls funded accounts, and an account can only ever be attached to one login, so losing control of it is genuinely disruptive to unpick.

Check your own activity

Settings includes a personal audit log covering sign-ins, two-factor changes, profile changes and agreement acceptances.

You do not need to ask anyone to see this. If you want to confirm nobody else has been in your account, that log is the place to look.

What else lives in Settings

  • Personal info — your profile details, including the ones the market-data checklist requires

  • Agreements — what you have accepted, including the CME market-data agreement

  • Notifications — email preferences, split between important notices and marketing

  • Sound alerts — order fill and rejection sounds, with a master toggle

  • Hotkeys — rebind keyboard shortcuts to suit you

Changing your username

Your username can be changed, but only once every 30 days. Choose deliberately, since it appears on your public profile.
